about

This is the third episode of the "Music For Boring Times" series.

"Boring music" is not necessarily boring. Often music is called "boring" because the challenge of paying attention and listening to certain music can be high. Let's hear what Thomas W. Patteson, a professor for music history, has to say about boring music:

"Boredom distends time, pulls us out of the clocklike rhythms of everyday temporality." (Thomas W. Patteson)

"What would happen if we tried to see boredom not simply as a symptom of artistic failure, but rather as an aesthetic intention in its own right?" (Thomas W. Patteson)

I dedicate this album to those who do not like my music.
