about

Studies have revealed that listening to ambient music can lead to reduced activity in brain regions associated with stress and increased connectivity in areas linked to calmness and positive mental states. This neurological response suggests that ambient music has the potential to alleviate anxiety, induce calmness, and foster a positive mental state.
Furthermore, engaging with ambient music can enhance cognitive function and critical thinking by challenging the brain's working memory.

Ambient music has also been found to improve sleep quality by inducing a state of calmness, reducing stress and anxiety before bedtime, and promoting deep sleep stages crucial for physical and emotional restoration. Additionally, ambient music offers a unique platform for me as musician to refine my skills, explore new approaches to music creation, and deepen my understanding of sound interaction.
In conclusion, ambient music's soothing qualities create a peaceful environment that can benefit individuals by reducing stress, enhancing relaxation, improving cognitive function, aiding sleep quality, nurturing creativity, and supporting overall well-being.

For the last three tracks on this album I would like to say some words:

Ambient music during birth can offer various benefits. It can help reduce pain perception through the Gate Control Theory, aid in relaxation, distract from discomfort, regulate breathing, manage stress, influence hormones positively, and provide emotional support.

"The Gate Control Theory is a significant concept in understanding pain perception, particularly in the context of labor and delivery. According to this theory, pain perception can be modulated by non-painful input, such as music or visual stimuli, which can close the "gates" to painful sensations and reduce the perception of pain." (see also Robert Melzack & Patrick D. Wall)
This theory suggests that distractions like music can effectively reduce anxiety and pain during labor by influencing the neural pathways that transmit pain signals to the brain.
